First upgrade to the newest version of Internet Explorer.

If your problems still exist, follow the instructions below.

IE includes a repair tool, which can be used to diagnose and fix problems.

This tool checks for out of date and corrupt files.

It may also replace some shortcuts in the start menu that were deleted.

1. Access this repair tool through the Add/Remove Programs control panel.

2. Select Microsoft IE 5.x 6.x > Add/Remove.

3. Select the option to repair the program and click OK.

4. Reboot the computer when the repair has finished.
